About Lakan Mike Jennings

I'm Lakan Mike Jennings. I own and operate Colorado Filipino Combat Systems (Colorado FCS).

In August 2000, I began training FCS Kali with Certified Instructor Jesse Frank.

In August 2004, Tuhon Ray Dionaldo promoted me to the rank of FCS Certified Instructor.

In August 2007, Tuhon Ray Dionaldo promoted me to the rank of FCS Guro.

In September 2025, Tuhon Ray Dionaldo promoted me to the rank of FCS Lakan.


I have traveled with Tuhon Ray in the United States and Puerto Rico giving seminars and promoting interest in FCS. It is also with the help, guidance, and training from Lakan Rico Cortes, Lakan Ray Cole, Lakan Pipo López and Lakan Harold Evans that I was able to increase my knowledge and skill in the Filipino arts.

I am also a USA Boxing Coach, MMA trainer, competitive grappler, and a Sifu in the Siu family Wing Chun system. My wife, Dr LA Jennings, and I own and operate Train.Fight.Win. MMA in Denver, Colorado.

About Filipino Combat Systems

FCS was founded by Tuhon Ray Dionaldo in order to protect and spread the Filipino martial arts
of Kali, Eskrima, and Arnis.

  • Our Filipino Martial Art program is part of FCS Kali International. Coach Mike is a Lakan under Tuhon Ray Dionaldo, one of the few martial artists in the world given this title and distinction.
