CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Martial Arts Classes

MMA Conditioning: Our most popular class! 30 minute high intensity workout followed by 15 minutes of MMA technical training. No previous experience required.

Grappling: 45 minutes of grappling technique, drills, and rolling. Based on catch-as-catch-can wrestling. No previous experience required; all skill levels welcome

Kickboxing: 45 minutes of striking technique, including footwork, boxing, kicks, clench, and head-movement. Based on an amalgam of Chinese Kickboxing (San Da), Muay Thai, American Kickboxing, Filipino Boxing, and Olympic Boxing. No previous experience required; all skill levels welcome

Thai Pads/Focus Mitts: 45 minutes of boxing, kickboxing, or MMA combinations practiced with a partner using Thai Pads. There is little technical instruction in this class and participants must know foundational punches, head-movement, kicks, and pad-holding technique to join this session. Kickboxing experience and permission from instructor required.

Kali: Kali and Eskrima are Filipino martial arts which include stick and knife fighting as well as "dirty" boxing. Taught by Filipino Combat Systems Guro Mike Jennings, these classes are highly technical and very physical. Dirty Boxing: Anything goes in this blended martial arts training! A combination of boxing, Kali, Wing Chun, clench, take-downs, and submission wrestling, this very rigorous training session is a true mixed martial arts class. 45 minutes of technique and drills that may include empty-hand training as well as weapons, cage work, and the Mook Jong (Wing Chun dummy). No previous experience required; all skill levels welcome

Strength and Fitness Classes

MMA Conditioning: Our most popular class! 30 minute high intensity workout followed by 15 minutes of MMA technical training. No previous experience required; all skill levels welcome.

Conditioning: 45 minutes of high intensity training with little to no equipment. No previous experience required; all skill levels welcome

Lifting: An eight-week lifting program that combines powerlifting and body-building protocols. No previous experience required, but members must pre-register to participate. New members who want to join the lifting program must first go through an ‘on-boarding’ class with the lifting coach.


All classes are 45 minutes long. We expect everyone to arrive on-time and not leave early.
